My name is Gabriela De Golia (she/her + they/them) and I am a young professional, independent scholar, multi-media artist, and spiritual seeker living in Wangunk and Quinnipiac territory on Turtle Island (known in colonizer languages as Middletown, Connecticut in the United States). I identify as white, queer, and disabled, among other things.

A lover of words since a young age yet hesitant to embrace the title of “writer” for many years, I love to create magic with language, which led to the creation of this website. You can find many of my written pieces in the writing section, and I also create various forms of visual art, which you can find here.

I have long worked at the nexus of spiritual praxis and social justice by helping individuals and communities take practical steps towards collective liberation for all beings. Currently, I mostly serve as a spiritual care provider by offering tarot readings via Zoom, and I am also pursuing certification to offer spiritual direction through Still Harbor. You can read more about my background on the influences & lineages page.

On the lighter side of things, I love to eat great food, watch Hayao Miyazaki films, contemplate different topics, spend time alone, and see friends and loved ones. On nice days you might catch me riding my bike, hiking, or swimming in any body of water I can find. When the weather is gloomy, you’ll likely find me in my bedroom with tea or kombucha and a good read, with music playing in the background.

If any of this speaks to you, let’s chat. You can reach me through my personal email, gdegolia@gmail.com.
