My name is Gabriela De Golia and I am a young professional and graduate student living in New York and Connecticut. I identify as female (she/her), cisgender, white, queer/bi, able-bodied, and many other things. A lover of words since a young age yet hesitant to embrace the title of “writer” for many years, I have now accepted my calling to intentionally create magic with language.
In addition to writing, I work at the nexus of spiritual praxis and social justice activism by helping various communities take practical steps towards collective liberation for all beings. Relatedly, I am also pursuing a Master of Divinity degree in the hopes of continuing this work from an even deeper, more grounded place. You can read more about my professional and academic background here.
On the lighter side of things, I love to eat great food, watch Hayao Miyazaki films, contemplate many different topics, read tarot cards, spend time alone, and see friends and loved ones. On nice days you might catch me riding my bike, hiking, or swimming in any body of water I can find. When the weather is gloomy, you’ll likely find me in my bedroom with tea or kombucha and a good read, with music playing in the background.
